Gib Hale has worked on over $6 billion of closed real estate transactions in his career with a focus on cash flowing multi-family properties and Agency Mortgage Bond purchases.

Prior to Brick Lane, Gib worked for Harbor Group International on the acquisitions team. In his role at HGI, Gib was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating contract, leading due diligence and developing business plans with asset managers for target acquisitions.  During his time at HGI, Gib was pivotal in the acquisition of a $1.80 billion REIT portfolio of workforce housing in the Mid-Atlantic region as well as the purchase of eleven issuances of Freddie Mac securitized bonds with a notional value of over $12 Billion.

Prior to joining Harbor Group International, Gib worked for Riverstone Residential’s Multifamily Advisory Group where he focused on advising, underwriting and researching potential multi-family real estate acquisitions for a wide range of both public and private real estate companies.

Gib graduated from the Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management with a focus on Real Estate, Finance & Accounting. He was born in Baltimore, MD, and resides with his family in Annapolis, MD.
