Jeff Gross


Prior to co-founding Brick Lane, Jeff Gross worked for nine years in the commercial real estate industry with Transwestern, where he specialized in commercial office leasing and sales services for clients in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. His transactional experience spanned the office, retail, multi-family and hospitality sectors with a primary focus on the core Washington, D.C. submarkets. Jeff has negotiated over 150 lease and sale transactions with a value inexcess of $150 Million. He successfully navigates his clients through the real estate analysis, due diligence, and contract negotiation process.

As Vice President at Transwestern, he also acted as a consultant for client projects requiring expertise in zoning and land use.

Prior to brokerage, Jeff was a market research analyst with Transwestern where he worked with the Leasing, Sales and Retail teams and played a significant role in many transactions. His work in this position helped him develop exceptional D.C. metropolitan area market knowledge along with superb analytical and marketing skills.

Jeff is Brick Lane’s Principal Broker and currently holds licenses in the District of Columbia and Virginia. In addition, Jeff works on sourcing new acquisitions and development opportunities and managing Brick Lane’s existing portfolio.

Jeff graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a Masters Degree in Real Estate. His studies focused on the financial analysis, legal, and entrepreneurial roles associated with value add, ground-up and transit-oriented development projects. Jeff graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and French. He is also a member of Sigma Iota Rho, the International Affairs National Honor Society. He is a native Washingtonian and attended St. Andrews’ Episcopal School in Potomac, MD. Jeff is a member of Urban Land Institute and the DC Preservation League.
