Taylor Kelly has worked on over $18 billion of closed real estate transactions in his career with focuses in (i) multi-family, condo and office acquisitions, development and asset management in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, (ii) asset management of distressed office, industrial, retail, multi-family and hotel properties across the U.S., (iii) CMBS loan workout and restructuring and (iv) origination, structuring and marketing of real estate loan transactions for public and private REITs, gaming and lodging firms and real estate developers.

Prior to Brick Lane, Taylor worked for CWCapital Asset Management in the distressed loan workout and real estate owned group. In his role at CWCapital, Taylor managed a $180 million portfolio of distressed office, industrial, retail, multi-family and hotel assets across the U.S. On the loan side, Taylor was responsible for asset valuation and for developing and executing loan workout strategies. This included negotiating and structuring loan modifications with borrowers, managing and completing the foreclosure process and valuing and selling loans. For assets that were REO, Taylor was responsible for asset valuation, management, leasing and disposition.

Prior to joining CWCapital Asset Management, Taylor worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Real Estate Structured Finance Group where he focused on the origination, underwriting and marketing of real estate debt for a wide range of both public and private real estate companies.

Taylor graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He was born in Washington, DC.
